📖 SYNOPSIS

"Major 2nd" centers on Shigeno Daigo, an elementary school student and the son of Goro, a professional baseball player who once played in the Major Leagues. Inspired by his father, Daigo initially joins the Mifune Dolphins youth team. However, the pressure of living up to his father's legacy proves too much, and he quits baseball after a short time. The story takes a turn when Sato Hikaru, a transfer student, joins Daigo's class in the spring of his sixth-grade year. Hikaru's father is Sato Toshiya, a former Major League player and a close friend of Daigo's father. This arrival sets the stage for a new chapter in Daigo's life, as the two young men's destinies begin to intertwine, promising a fresh start and a renewed connection to the sport of baseball.
