Episode Context

With only two episodes in this OVA series, Episode 2 is both the culmination and the closing statement of the entire story. Everything introduced in Episode 1, the fraught dynamic between Taki and Klaus, the political and military tensions surrounding their relationship, converges here. There is no follow-up episode to soften or extend the landing; this is the definitive endpoint, and it lands with the full force of a story that was never building toward easy resolution.
