READTHROUGH
Mahoro's Quiet Morning
The episode opens with Mahoro enjoying a tranquil autumn morning, walking a small dog. A dragonfly lands on her hair, prompting a gentle, scolding remark about using her head as a perch. This scene quickly establishes Mahoro's tender nature, showing a profound peace in her daily life. It is a moment of pure, unguarded humanity.
The Spy's Conundrum
Far above Earth, Ryuga (Vesper) discusses his mission with Sera (Saint), admitting that Mahoro's human-like existence complicates his views. He wrestles with the paradox of androids given hearts and the desire for human life. Back on Earth, Ryuga maintains his handsome teacher facade, calmly waving to admiring students while scanning for threats. Up high, Slash (Cylind), a black panther, watches with clear irritation, muttering about their unresolved conflict.
Schoolyard Shenanigans
Suguru and his friends are caught by Ryuga examining a suggestive photobook on the school roof. Ryuga confiscates the book with a stern lecture, only to later peruse it himself in the faculty room. His moment of quiet hypocrisy is interrupted by Shikijo-sensei, who approaches with eccentric flirtations and bizarre poses. Suguru witnesses the awkward scene, a mixture of pity and embarrassment on his face.
A Feline Interruption
As the school day ends, Ryuga is shadowed by Slash, who prepares for an ambush in a quiet alley. Their impending confrontation is derailed when a young girl with blue hair, Minawa, appears. She greets Slash as 'Cylind' and pulls him into an innocent hug, momentarily deflating his fearsome persona. Later, in a public bathhouse, Minawa explains she brought Slash for a cleaning, leading to a montage of the panther being scrubbed and adorned with flowers by giggling girls. In the men's section, Ryuga remains blissfully unaware of his rival's humiliation nearby.
The Midnight Brawl
Night falls, and Ryuga finally confronts Slash in a deserted park. The panther sheds his bathhouse indignity, transforming into a combat-ready stance. Their fight begins with blinding speed, claws tearing through Ryuga's sleeve, countered by powerful kicks. Slash transforms into a larger, more monstrous form, red markings appearing on his body. The collision of their forces creates a massive shockwave, ending with Ryuga pinned against a stone wall, Slash's fangs bared.
Domestic Intervention
Mahoro descends from above, delivering a powerful palm strike that slams both Ryuga and Slash to the ground. She stands over them, emanating an aura of immense fury, scolding their reckless behavior in a public space. She forces the two rivals to share handmade rice balls, lecturing them on peace and cooperation between humans and androids. Mahoro then confiscates the earlier 'lewd' photobook from Suguru, further cementing her authority as a domestic peacekeeper.
Rivals Under the Stars
Later, Ryuga sits alone on a hillside, his torn teacher's suit flapping in the breeze. He reflects on a memory of a younger Suguru bravely protecting Mahoro, questioning his own mission. Slash eventually joins him, and the two share a quiet, surprisingly civil conversation. Ryuga expresses a desire to live more like a human, a sentiment Slash scoffs at but does not dismiss outright. They find a temporary truce in the stillness of the night.
Minawa's Silent Pursuit
The next morning, Minawa is seen watching students outside Suguru's school, her movements stiff and robotic. She begins to follow Suguru from a distance, piquing the curiosity of his friends. Later, in a downtown shopping district, Suguru tells Mahoro he feels followed, and Mahoro spots Minawa hiding. Sensing deep sadness and loneliness, Mahoro helps Minawa when she falls, gently asking what she wants. Mahoro's compassion leads her to take the girl under her wing for the afternoon.
Plaza Under Attack
High above the plaza, a mysterious sniper assembles a high-powered rifle, confirming '370' and the 'target android.' The sniper fires, narrowly missing the group and shattering a post box. Mahoro's combat instincts activate instantly; she shoves Suguru to the ground and shields Minawa. She yells for Suguru to find cover, then performs a massive leap, carrying Minawa towards the rooftops, escaping the sudden chaos.
Rooftop Defense
Mahoro lands on a skyscraper roof, immediately surrounded by sleek mechanical drones with glowing yellow eyes. She deftly dodges a barrage of energy blasts, shielding Minawa. Unexpectedly, Minawa pushes away and reveals her own combat abilities, firing precise energy blasts at the drones. The two androids fight side-by-side, their movements synchronized, as Mahoro uses a hidden blade and then a ripped-off drone arm as a weapon. Mahoro delivers a final, devastating aerial kick, obliterating the lead drone in a massive explosion, clearing the rooftop of enemies.
The Researchers' Disappointment
Deep within a high-tech facility, Mefries and Feldlance, sinister researchers, monitor the battle footage. They discuss the failure to capture '370' and express surprise at the interference of a Vesper unit. Mefries is intrigued by Mahoro's power, noting she exceeded their expectations. They begin to plan a new strategy to reclaim their project, staring at images of Mahoro in her maid uniform.
A New Sanctuary
On the rooftop, Minawa suddenly loses consciousness, her eyes going blank as she slumps forward. Mahoro catches her gently, recognizing a massive power drain or internal malfunction. She promises to care for Minawa and find a way to fix her. As the sun sets, Mahoro carries the unconscious Minawa back to the Misato residence, meeting a worried Suguru at the gate. Mahoro offers a small, reassuring smile, her eyes still filled with concern for the mysterious girl now in their care.
The Unspoken Countdown
The screen fades to black, and a somber message appears in white text: '286 days left until Mahoro-san ceases to function.' This haunting reminder of her limited lifespan casts a heavy shadow over the recent victory and the new life brought into the Misato home. The text lingers, emphasizing the transient nature of her peace.
Mahoro's Poetic Reflection
A segment titled 'Satellite Poem' features Mahoro's soft voice reading a poetic reflection on daily life. Accompanied by visuals of autumn flowers and quiet suburban streets at sunset, the poem speaks of simple happiness found in hard work and seeing loved ones smile. It offers a moment of calm and introspection after the episode's intense events.
The Actors' Closing Words
Voice actors Shin Furukawa, Shizuka Ito, and Yuki Kuwahara appear in a studio, greeting viewers and introducing their roles in an upcoming anime. They share their passion for their characters, engaging in a lively debate about who is most appealing. The actors then swap funny behind-the-scenes stories from recording sessions, their laughter infectious. They conclude with a final bow and encouragement for fans to support the show.
EPISODE REVIEWS

The setup was really interesting, and I liked how quickly the characters clicked. The comedy landed well, while there was also a subtle melancholy underneath it that added some depth. I thought it was a strong start, and I’d recommend giving it a try if you enjoy a mix of comedy and emotion.

Great episode that keeps the fun school life vibe going with plenty of fan service. A new character also joins the mix and shakes things up nicely.

Mr. Yuga was a very handsome and his appeal was so popular among women, while Mahoro having the good discipline towards to her friends.
