Episode Context

Just two episodes in, the series has already established Sasami's transformation into Pretty Sammy and her initial foray into magical responsibilities. This episode shifts focus inward, grounding her daily life at school and reinforcing the dual-life tension that will fuel the season's recurring comedy. It lays casual but important groundwork for future episodes, which continue to mine the clash between Sasami's ordinary world and her extraordinary role.
