Episode Context

Coming off the trust and misunderstanding themes explored in the previous episode, this installment turns the lens inward, asking the apprentices to examine their own ethical boundaries around magic use. It represents a meaningful step in the trio's development as young witches, bridging interpersonal conflict with personal responsibility. The moral groundwork laid here feeds directly into the next episode's more external, high-stakes challenge.
