This episode feels like a manifestation of Kukuri's fear of growing up and moving on, which gives the loops here real emotional weight rather than just a gimmick. The writing here feels smarter than it appears, the episode is more interesting once you understand what is going on. The pacing feels slow by design, it works well with the theme but it really feels like a drag until the context clicks.
