Episode Context

Coming directly off 'Toshio, Don't Remember It!', an episode that forced Toshio to wrestle with his own memories and perception, 'The Final Stage' channels that emotional turbulence into a definitive conclusion. It draws together the personal journeys of all three central characters, resolving threads that have built across the full 52-episode run. As the final episode, it sets up nothing beyond itself; this is the closing statement on Yuu's extraordinary double life.
