Episode Context

Coming off the Escudo retrieval arc, episode 6 transitions the Magic Knights from gathering resources to preparing for real combat, sitting at the critical early-middle stretch of the 20-episode season. The escalation from Zagato's forces, specifically through his minion Ascot, raises the threat level considerably from what came before. This episode establishes the personal stakes and sacrifices that will define the Knights' journey through the season's back half.
