EPISODE REVIEWS

This anime brought back a nostalgic feeling.. A very good update on the animation and graphics.. And the theme song.. Man, it's pure bliss.. Magic Knight Rayearth is not the same without Yuzerenai Negai.. A theme song is part of the anime itself.. It's part of the anime's identity.. Kudos to the production using the original theme.

Episode Context

This premiere launches the central Cephiro rescue quest, carrying Hikaru Shidou, Umi Ryuuzaki, and Fuu Hououji out of Tokyo Tower and into a world that needs them. With no previous episode behind it, the hour does the full setup work: introducing the trio, the quest's urgency, and the danger pressing on Cephiro. It closes by pointing them toward their first destination and the tools required for the road ahead.
