As someone who loves music, I really connected with this anime. This episode had great pacing, and I liked how the story moved forward while continuing to build the characters and their journey.

This episode is peak action. The breathless pacing is paired with continuous adrenaline rush provided by the clash. The competitive tone was handled perfectly and provided some rival character development in this episode.

Episode Context

Coming off the Windermere Kingdom's formal declaration of war and the worsening Var Syndrome crisis, episode 6 forces Delta Flight and Walküre to confront the escalating human toll of the conflict head-on. It functions as a critical inflection point roughly a quarter into the season, transitioning from the initial setup and skirmishes into a grimmer phase of the war. The groundwork laid here, particularly around Hayate and Mirage's readiness, directly feeds into the next episode's behind-enemy-lines mission, raising the stakes considerably for the arc ahead.
