The threat went off the charts in this episode. The quick pacing left no room to breathe, and allowed a catastrophic tone to take the screen. The animation is stunning in this episode. It builds an unbelievable amount of momentum.

Episode Context

Coming directly after the devastating fallout of episode 24, 'Fatal Judgment,' this episode absorbs the consequences of that turning point and channels them into the final escalation. It functions as the critical bridge between crisis and resolution, deepening character stakes for Mikumo, Hayate, and Freyja while engineering the setup for the series finale, 'Eternal Walküre.' As episode 25 of 26, this is the last breath before the climax, everything here exists to make that ending land.
