This episode is highly tactical. A proper sense of suspense is maintained by the calculated pacing. The analytical tone, paired with some beautiful animation, totally hooked me to the screen.

Episode Context

Sitting at the two-thirds mark of the series, episode 17 follows 'Hesitating Birthday,' which cracked open personal tensions and unresolved feelings among the cast, and this installment digs further into that emotional groundwork. It functions as a deliberate bridge episode, consolidating character development and relationship dynamics before the pace shifts toward 'Sense Emergence' and the escalating conflicts of the final act. With nine episodes remaining, this is the series locking in its emotional stakes before the endgame.
