I really like the bond between Hayate and Freyja Wion, and their interactions are always enjoyable to watch. The story is becoming more interesting with each episode, and I'm excited to see what happens next.

The threat in this episode is off the charts. The calculated, tight pacing did a wonderful job in building a high-pressure tone. The animation looked splendid and provided some immediate character development.

Episode Context

Sitting at the exact midpoint of the 26-episode run, Episode 12 follows the emotional fallout of Episode 11's devastating loss and channels that grief into resolve. It functions as a critical bridge episode, shifting the series from its first-half setup into the more conflict-driven second half as Windermere's Sigur Berrentzs threat looms. The strategic and emotional groundwork laid here directly feeds the major confrontations that define the back half of the season.
