The Salacious City: Head-to-Toe Harassment
Oshimeter
Synopsis
Newly trained and eager to build something new for herself and her younger sister Yui, Atsuko Takagi comes to a quiet town to begin her teaching career at Nansui Academy. Within days, explicit photos appear on the school notice board, and the whole situation starts spiraling in a direction she never anticipated. When Atsuko publicly defends Kenji, the principal's son and the prime suspect, she thinks she's doing the right thing — standing up for someone being unfairly targeted. That decision turns out to be a mistake she can't walk back. Kenji and the people around him have leverage, and the town's friendly surface hides something considerably uglier underneath. The series is a dark psychological drama dressed as an erotic thriller, leaning hard into the manipulation and coercion angle rather than straightforward titillation. If you've watched Kuroinu or Taimanin Asagi and want something with a more grounded, small-town setting, this scratches a similar itch. The character dynamics between Atsuko and Kenji carry most of the weight, and the animation from PoRO is detailed enough to make the atmosphere feel genuinely unsettling rather than cheap. It's based on a visual novel, so there's actual narrative structure here — four episodes that build rather than just episodically reset. Not a casual watch, and the subject matter is genuinely heavy. But if dark, slow-burn manipulation storylines are your thing, this one commits to the tone consistently across its run.
