Episode Context

Chisato and Takina are back behind the counter at Café LycoReco, but routine has a short shelf life when you're moonlighting as covert agents. 'Miles Away' leans hard into the comedy side of the franchise, keeping the energy brisk and the stakes playful. Expect the signature push-and-pull between Chisato's freewheeling optimism and Takina's measured composure, now tested by situations that pull them away from the comfort of their café bubble. The episode thrives on their chemistry, quick exchanges, improvised solutions, and the kind of seamless teamwork that makes mundane tasks feel entertaining. A-1 Pictures keeps the visual presentation clean and expressive, matching the upbeat pacing. If you enjoyed the lighthearted setup of the premiere, this episode doubles down on that energy while subtly broadening the world around the duo.
