You thought this episode will be a the continuation of the Holmes story? Sadly it isn't. It's a good thing that everything was explained properly unlike with the previous episode but there aren't any story build up, the story of the target was just talked about by Lupin. This episode is quite rather odd, Lupin's operation this time is close to a retrieval operation than a stealing one 🤔
The beginning is great. Lupin and Jigen are really cool here, and the style of their performance adds an edge to the whole thing without making it any less enjoyable. It’s different from the usual pacing of the episode. Really enjoyed the part in the diner.
I had high hopes for this episode, but honestly, I think this episode is mid. It feels more slow paced than I expected. Although the action sequence is great, the dialogues are well written. This could've worked better as a smaller segment rather than a full fledged episode
