Episode Context

Sitting at episode 15 of 23, this installment arrives just past the season's midpoint, following 'The Emerald's Secret' where Lupin and Fujiko competed over a legendary gem. By pivoting to the Lupin-Zenigata dynamic, the episode provides a tonal palette cleanser before 'Operation Jewel Snatch' ramps up heist complexity with Fujiko luring Lupin into a diamond scheme. It's a well-placed character-driven breather that reinforces core rivalries heading into the season's final stretch.
