Episode Context

As a single-episode OVA, this is the complete story, there are no preceding or following episodes to track. It functions as a revisitation of Lupin's early rogues' gallery, specifically resurrecting Pycal from the original 1971 series to test how the classic dynamic holds up with a more threatening, reimagined antagonist. Consider it a one-shot challenge to Lupin's reputation, self-contained but rich with continuity rewards for longtime fans.
