Episode Context

Coming off 'Alter-Ego Maniac,' which leaned into deception and shifting identities, this episode continues that introspective thread by redirecting focus to Jigen's inner world, a natural emotional escalation. At episode 58 of 155, the series is deep into its run and occasionally pauses for character-focused chapters like this one. It bridges into 'Madame Prefers Them Hand-Dipped,' which returns the gang to their signature adventurous rhythm, making this a meaningful breather before the action picks back up.
