I miss the time where this anime is all sunshine and rainbows... Professor Brant is an mvp in this episode, thank you for telling that to our dear girl Lili. I love that all the elder figures are so sweet towards Lili awhh. Lili and Kit's relationship is just going downhill at this point, Lili has every right to be angry, she was laying bare her feelings out in the moment, and because of that she said something she shouldn't have but honestly... Both of them are wrong for what they did. Kit didn't even apologize for his actions and Lili's emotions got the best of her.
I need Kit to just tell Lili what’s in his heart and vice versa because this whole back and forth between not confessing and confessing is actually killing me. The whole weight of the war situation now carries over to the episodes and you can feel the impact on the characters
This episode carries a strong emotional weight from beginning to end. Lili moving through the rain already sets a very intense atmosphere without needing words. I really love how raw everything feels, especially when emotions don’t quite line up between characters. The standout moment is when the two finally face each other, but instead of things becoming clearer, it feels even more complicated. There’s a pause where it feels like something important could be said… but isn’t. That kind of almost-moment hits harder than a full resolution. It’s messy, and that’s what makes it real.
