This show is not trying to be a deep, meaningful masterpiece. It's a yaoi rom-com that's all about ridiculous misunderstandings, gender confusion, and over-the top showbiz drama. The art style is bright and colorful, the characters are endearing, and the comedy hits more often than it misses . Izumi is that relatable anxious otaku who just wants to be left alone with his manga . Ryouma is a sweet, sincere idiot who's been crushing on the "girl" he met ten years ago.
El estilo de dibujo tiene personalidad propia desde el primer minuto, se nota. La excusa para reunirlos de nuevo es sospechosamente conveniente pero me convencieron igual jasjas. El humor es sencillito pero funciona, me sacó varias risas. Un poco random tener a una niña de fondo de pantalla pero bueno, ya sabemos por qué. El recurso de las mascotas es tierno la verdad.Todo el comercial se sintió tan genuino. Y ESE FINAL. Uff, no me lo esperaba así. Buen primer capítulo.
I can't even remember how many times I've rewatched Love Stage!!. Even though it was released in 2014, the art style is still so crisp and gorgeous! Izumi is absolutely adorable, and I still get the same giddy feeling every time he and Ryouma meet. ❤️ Definitely one of my all-time comfort BLs. ✨
