The focus shifts to Hanayo and Rin for this episode. I love these two silly girls, LOL! I like their dynamic and relationship so much. Them needing more members makes sense since it’s a club. Overall, this feels like a great introduction episode for the two of them.

Probably the episode where the characters’ depth is truly felt. Every person in the group has their own weaknesses, showing how imperfect the girls are, yet they still did their best. 8.5/10.

Not only one but three additional members for the school idol group! A great progress! It's fun to see how they continue to grow as a group and I think there will be more!

Episode Context

Coming off μ's first live performance in episode 3, this episode pivots from proving the group can exist to asking whether it can grow, specifically by pulling Hanayo, Rin, and Maki into the fold. It's a crucial early-season bridge that expands the cast beyond the founding members and lays the emotional groundwork for the larger group dynamics that will define the back half of the season's fight to save the school.
