Episode Context

Following Shinobu's emotionally grounded introduction in Episode 2, this episode pivots to expand the Hinata House roster with Motoko, the last of the core residents to formally meet Keitaro. Her debut sets up one of the season's recurring comedic dynamics and plants the seeds for her longer character arc around acceptance and growth. At just Episode 3 of 24, this is still firmly in the establishment phase, building out the ensemble whose relationships will define the season's emotional core.
