NO SHICHIMIYA, NO! OH NAHH, I REALLY THOUGHT SHE HAD ALREADY MOVED ON SINCE HER INTRODUCTION IN THE EARLIER EPISODES. Since the last episode ended on a cliffhanger, this episode reveals more about her feelings toward Yuuta or Yuusha, same thing. However, this is heartbreaking... supported by the atmosphere and soundtrack, they handled the festival scene very well.
Sometimes reality bites!!! This episode is really quite heartbreaking. I clearly understand Shichimiya's situation, as the overflowing emotions and her rationalization really hit hard. Also, the animation tone definitely added an atmospheric weight to those significant moments.
This episode really tugged at my heartstrings. The way the characters past memories shape their development is brilliant. Seeing how Schicimiya struggles with something deep within herself was truly moving. It was so sad. The supporting moments made the atmosphere even more intense and profound. I'm such a softie when Yuuta treats her like this! 🥹
