Love Bitch: Yasashii Onna
Oshimeter
Synopsis
Satou has completely fallen for Chisato — the kind, gentle upperclassman who already captured his heart at his college. The problem is she's already with someone — a guy named Miura who doesn't exactly treat her well. Satou watches this play out, torn between keeping his feelings to himself and the growing frustration of seeing someone he cares about in a situation that's clearly not good for her. That tension — wanting someone, watching them with the wrong person, not knowing where the line is between concern and something more selfish — is what drives this one-episode OVA based on LINDA's manga. It's a short watch, so don't expect a sprawling story. What you get instead is a tight emotional snapshot: three people, a complicated dynamic, and the kind of quiet ache that comes with unrequited feelings tangled up with real moral weight. The animation from T-Rex does a decent job giving the characters some actual presence, which matters when the whole story lives or dies on whether you buy into these relationships. If you've seen something like Love Me, My Knight and liked the emotionally messy relationship drama side of things, this scratches a similar itch. Fans of LINDA's manga work will probably appreciate how closely it sticks to the source material. It's not trying to be complicated — it's a straightforward character piece about longing, loyalty, and the uncomfortable grey area between the two.
