Love and Lies

Didn't like it all, glad it's over. The plot is depressing, and there's no real conclusion. There was no character development except for maybe Ririna not being as closed off as she was at the start and Takasaki not being the liar she thought she was. If you don't mind wasting your time, don't mind some 16-year-olds having a romantic crisis and the government deciding your fkin future, this is the shi for you.

The Takasaki - Ririna relationship is pretty much a lie, cuz it seems like Takasaki likes hiding whatever she's feeling. Plus, them liking the same guy doesn't seem like it's making the situation any better. I really can't wait for this to get over with.

Takasaki's hot and cold personality really bothers me, like girl, make up your mind ffs. Some days she's sure of her feelings; the next, she's ignoring Nijima like no tomorrow. The character who has been teased for ages is finally revealed, and she really doesn't seem worth keeping under wraps.

I wish they'd give us a bit more revelation on who actually was responsible for the fake notice and what it's about instead of vague hints - that thing they did in the end didn't really make sense. You'd think this was a pretty big deal, when it involves penalties and spending their whole lives together. The play was good, and Takasaki looked pretty damn cool with her Romeo fit.

This episode felt so dragged out, and it was just about the play and Nisaka throwing tantrums. If he didn't wanna be a part of it, he should've said that from the start. The effort put into the play is slightly heartwarming, and so was Takasaki's yap sesh.

Yukari really let the guy who lied to him off the hook so easily; his character really pisses me off. All the guy needed to do was talk about his sad sob story. Yukari's clutzy, naive personality, ugh. The drama between the two girls is also getting pretty real. Not sure if I like Takasakii's personality anymore. Can't wait to get this over with.

Decent ending though I would've liked it better if it was not cliche. Basically it was an open ending but it sucks to see that coz in the first half of the show, things were really fast paced. I had really high hopes for this show and I think it deserves another season.

This was another frustrating episode. They've suddenly moved on to putting these 16-year-olds into rooms to have sex... who tf thought this was a good idea for an episode plot? Now Yukari has suddenly decided that he's got to do certain things to avoid the penalty, and because he's suddenly concerned about Ririna.

It's episode 11 but I think we are not getting the desired outcome of the romance in way that at this point, Yukari should've chosen one already. Yukari looks like a playboy, ngl XD. Pretty decent episode depicting a wedding but I think they could've showed more emotion.

Well, it's good to know that some of the revelations were told to Ririna and I think it will make a huge impact on them. I think Igarashi is just a good person trying to protect Misaki. Anyways, this episode feels like a build up for more of the twists we are waiting or hoping.

An episode with some slight fan service, couple of misunderstandings, and characters falling and landing in awkward positions. There was also a moment that allowed Yukari's character to shine, with him and his burial mounds (felt forced, an attempt to give his character some depth). Nisaka is also out here giving reality checks</3

We got pretty huge developments, I think. The ending was really something but at the same it was also a cliffhanger. Let's also appreciate how Nisaka handled that outfit very cutely haha. I wonder what's up with that new girl, though.

We get more bs about the poorly constructed "Red strings of science" theory. Of which I quote: "They say 50% of your personality is genetic". Who said it? We do not know. They really just put it all on "science" and called it a day. The annoying motivational bgm during the explanation just infuriated me further. Well, the character personalities aren't really getting better, and I am not looking forward to this 'family' outing.

Another painful watch, idk if Yuukari's character is already rubbing off on Ririna, but her demands do not make a lot of sense. This episode was a whole "Why am I watching this again?" moment, and some of the scenes were cringy enough to give me chills (multiple times). It's also pretty frustrating that Yukari's character does not seem to be improving at all.

First of all, it's pretty weird to make 16-year-olds give a shit about marriage. Again, this is what makes it highly unrelatable. Second, the intended comedy in this anime really doesn't land. Third, the MC's character is pretty bland and lowkey annoying, and this episode does have enough reason to believe he is. Ririna is a bit of a weird character, but I do like how bold she is, but the attempt to make her seem like a clutz really bothers me.

The plot of the anime is pretty well explained within the first few minutes of the anime. It's something I haven't seen a lot, but I'm not a fan of it. The government deciding hetero partners is definitely something I cannot get behind, and it being so unrealistic makes it a really hard watch. The people being excited about this system... the parents and the little sister seem so brainwashed. I'd give it points for the animation, art style, and voice acting, but that's pretty much about it.

I think this episode was like a breather for me. It was kinda slow paced and more natural. Though, the ending scenes was still intense. Nisaka is such a diva XD. I think we should get more history of him and how he became like that.

Yukari should have judged the situation more smartly. It's a shame that Ririna was able to see through it but Yukari didn't. Great episode but I think it's getting more complicated now and they are gonna try to build up more tension on Ririna's feelings.

Woah, things are really moving fast. From my observation, the ministry is really shady. Ririna is just really an innocent girl and it sucks to see the ministry is forcing things to them. Though, it was still a fun episode.

The three are playing with their feelings and emotions while also trying to figure it out but there goes Nisaka just casually hitting Ririna with reality XD. It was a fun and yet an intense episode. I think Nisaka's action will create some kind of drama on the next episodes.
