📖 SYNOPSIS
"Love and Lies" presents a world where the government determines marriage partners for citizens upon their sixteenth birthday. Yukari Nejima, a seemingly ordinary teenager, harbors a secret love for his classmate, Misaki Takasaki. On the eve of his assigned marriage, he confesses his feelings. However, he soon discovers he has been assigned to Ririna Sanada, a girl he barely knows. This forces Yukari to confront a difficult dilemma: follow the government's decree and embrace his assigned partner, or pursue his feelings for Misaki. The anime explores themes of love, societal control, and the conflict between personal desires and predetermined destinies.
