📖 SYNOPSIS

Set in Japan in 2105 A.D., "Beatless" explores a world where humanoid androids, known as hiE, are integrated into daily life, handling tasks both mundane and complex. Arato Endou, unlike his friends who harbor negative feelings towards hiE, feels a sense of empathy for these artificial beings. One night, Arato is caught in a bizarre incident involving falling cherry blossoms that trigger malfunctions in hiE and other machines. Facing this crisis, Arato's fate becomes intertwined with Lacia, a mysterious hiE. The story delves into the relationship between humans and artificial intelligence, questioning the boundaries of humanity and the potential for connection, even with beings lacking a soul. The anime includes the Beatless Final Stage, encompassing episodes 21-24.
