Episode Context

Landing at the exact halfway point of the 26-episode run, this episode follows 'Friends Scatter,' which pushed the trio through personal fractures and external pressures. 'The Rain of Tears Ends' channels that tension into something larger, a conspiracy that reframes what the group has been dealing with. It directly sets the stage for 'Recollection Returns,' which will pull Kane's backstory into focus and deepen the stakes of everything that comes after.
