I went into this film unsure of what to think, thankfully it was standalone and I didn’t have to watch the anime connected to it. The animation was so beautiful to look at and the story and characters were well done to see them go through some obstacles in their lives.

This movie is a total slow burn, and honestly, I’m obsessed. It trades explosive drama for quiet, micro-expression storytelling that perfectly captures the suffocating weight of high school friendships.
