It was worth all 24 episodes to witness Akko finally do what she had immensely struggled with in the first few magic classes. The finale plot feels like a race against time. Akko's journey, the words, and the state of magic, all bid a wholesome adieu.

This reminds me of the feeling of watching that scene in FFVII Advent Children, if you know you know. It was great, especially the animation, fluid and crisp. Even if this ending doesn't put a nice bow on everything, I enjoyed it. That end scene is specially wholesome!
