A good early Akko vs. Diana episode. They really show the gap between talent and passion while keeping the "magical wonder" alive.

As for now, I can see the plot would take an episodic route, just like how this episode did. It was self contain but still very good as we take a journey with the main character, discovering magic. I do like they introduce us a rival in Diana, someone Akko can bounce off to.

I love Sucy's character design, the hairsweep on one of her eyes looks SO CUTE. First day of magic classes have begun, and Akko's expectations do not match the reality when it comes to classes...kinda reminds me of my own college first day enthusiasm ahaha!
