I really thought Uramichi was actually leaving for a second, but it was all just a dream lol. The Bonjour Man TOT they need to give him better costume :/ At least he's smiling in he last scene

Episode Context

The season finale of Life Lessons with Uramichi-Oniisan does exactly what you'd expect from a show built on self-aware misery, it turns the camera on itself. The cast of 'Together with Maman' gets the distinct feeling that something final is in the air, and the meta-awareness becomes the joke. Uramichi and his colleagues lean into the existential dread of endings while still maintaining the razor-sharp contrast between their cheerful on-screen children's show personas and their deeply disillusioned off-screen selves. The pacing stays true to the episodic sketch comedy format that defined the series, but carries a more reflective undercurrent than usual. Expect the same dark workplace humor, the same deadpan delivery, but with a sense of finality that gives the comedy an extra layer of bittersweet weight. A fitting sendoff for a consistently sharp satire.
