Liar Game Episode 8: Downsizing Game

The ending makes me curious about the next episode.

i've watched WAAAAY better psychological animes compared to this and this just aims to piss the viewers off, im not excited for season 2 at all

btw if u cut every nao scene, i think this episode would've been just 3 mins

Inginku berkata kasar sama si cewe lugu dan bodoh dan dungu ini.

Sebaliknya suka banget sama kepintaran si Yuji. Kalau main Liar Game ya harus pandai baca orang lain lah.

Me gustó que el episodio dependiera más de personajes secundarios que de los principales, así el anime muestra que hay otros personajes además de Akiyama que cuentan con buenas estrategias. Fukunaga sobretodo. Aunque me disgusta que con Nao hagan siempre lo mismo, que la desarrollen y luego ella vuelva a caer siempre en lo mismo.

Nao gets thrown to the wolves in the Downsizing Game with no Akiyama in sight, and Fukunaga proves once again that being a conniving genius is basically a full-time job. Can't wait for next episode.

I kinda liked the pacing of this episode, and the story progression felt solid overall. It leaned more into dialogue and explanations, which worked pretty well. Other than that, I might actually start getting headaches because of Nao 🥲 I still love her, though.

I still don’t know whether I like Fukunaga Yuji or not, lol. This episode was seriously nerve-wracking. I didn’t know whether I wanted to slap myself out of embarrassment or just keep watching 😭 Either way, it was actually a really good episode for provoking those feelings.

If you’re going to watch this episode, maybe take a few deep breaths first, lmfao. I really loved this one, though, especially because it made me think while also stressing me out at the same time. Definitely not an episode you should skip!
