Episode Context

Following Episode 7's redemption-round aftermath, this episode marks the entry point into a high-stakes elimination phase that forces participants to confront the game's escalating brutality. The 'Downsizing Game' functions as a structural turning point, a filter that will determine who moves forward and, crucially, who gets left behind. What unfolds here directly shapes the alliances and psychological scars that will carry into the rounds ahead.
