Episode Context

Episode 24, "Counterattack," left the Core Match poised at its final hand after Kikuchi's advantage forced Akiyama to adapt. Episode 25 follows through on that confrontation, establishes the resulting team position, and begins the General Match, where Nao Kanzaki faces a new form of deception-based pressure. The shift moves the season's endgame away from Akiyama's analytical command and onto Nao's capacity to conceal intent under scrutiny.
