Let's Just Crash
Oshimeter
Synopsis
In a dystopian world, the rich literally float above everyone else, and when they're done with something — or someone — they just toss it into a giant pit. Rudo is a kid from the slums below who gets framed for a crime and thrown into that same abyss. Instead of dying, he lands in a wasteland full of monstrous creatures made from all the garbage the upper class discarded. Down there, he meets the Cleaners, fighters who wield "Vital Instruments" — weapons shaped by their emotions and personal histories. This music video ties into the anime Gachiakuta, featuring Mori Calliope's track "Let's Just Crash" as the show's second opening. It captures the raw, graffiti-soaked energy of the series in a single concentrated hit. The whole thing runs on this grimy, rebellious aesthetic where the art feels like it was tagged on a concrete wall, and the soundtrack matches that intensity beat for beat. If you're into the chaotic dystopian energy of Akudama Drive, the grotesque creativity of Dorohedoro, or the stylish action of Fire Force, this sits right in that neighborhood. It's a solid entry point if you're curious about Gachiakuta but want a taste of its vibe before committing to the full series. The emotion-powered weapon system alone is worth paying attention to — it gives the fights a personal weight that goes beyond just cool choreography.
