Peak "running gag as structure" episode. Krai bans training during the vacation just to give Tino a break from Liz's brutal coaching, and then the universe throws a lightning spirit, an orc horde and a fire spirit at the group anyway except the joke is that Krai's crew just ignores all of it and keeps walking, while poor Arnold's group catches every single disaster in their wake.
It’s a super fun chapter where Krai uses various tricks to stall the hunters pursuing him. I love Krai’s personality; combined with all the hilarious situations involving the girls, it makes this chapter truly memorable.
This is stupidly funny. From now on, I'm just gonna say, "Sasuga Krai-sama," whenever this kind of sh*t happens, LOL! On another note, though, I kinda think they're downplaying Arnold's prowess with this direction. I mean, it just feels very lacking. I genuinely think Arnold is incredibly strong, but his encounters feel so bland.
