Overall, I think a decent finale. There are a lot of plot lines they could’ve addressed, but like most Toonami shows the ending is normally controversial. I feel this ending could’ve had better execution. I liked Lazarus for the most part though and hope to see more shows from this creator as he made Cowboy Bebop, one of my favourites.
It makes sense now why it had this cowboy bebop vibe, very impactful ending. A nostalgic mystery cyberpunk masterpiece. RIP
It could have been better if the clues left to find Skinner and backstory of the characters are actually established well before the climax. The action scene was overblown, and the resolution was a bit contrived. For a story meant to showcase found family, it could have done better if it focused more on why the characters use Hapna and how they'll move forward without them.
