Laughing Nurse
Oshimeter
Synopsis
Being stuck in a hospital bed is already boring enough on its own — then Akane, his nurse, starts making his stay a lot more complicated. She teases him relentlessly, he keeps refusing, and somehow that tension just keeps building. The other male patients in neighboring rooms can hear everything going on, and predictably, that curiosity gets the better of them. The second episode pulls back to show how the main character's girlfriend worked up the nerve to confess her feelings, which adds a bit of backstory to the whole situation. It's a 2-episode OVA from 2007, adapted from a manga, so it's short and doesn't overstay its welcome. The hospital setting keeps things confined and a little tense, and the character designs lean expressive and distinct rather than generic. The tone mixes humor with the erotic stuff more than you'd expect — it's not entirely serious about itself. If you've watched something like Chinetsu Karte: The Devilish Cherry and appreciated how that handled a medical setting with a similar mix of comedy and adult content, this sits in the same general neighborhood. Fans of Inmou who liked the interpersonal drama layered underneath the explicit material might also find this worth a look. It's a short, low-commitment watch with a specific niche appeal — don't go in expecting deep storytelling, but the playful dynamic between the characters gives it a little more personality than the average entry in this genre.
