Myoue's backstory was heartbreaking, and it made me even more curious about his relationship with Yase and Kurama. While we learned more about the past, the main story also kept moving forward, making it even more interesting.

I am of the opinion that this is the best episode in the series by far. First of, they continued that flashback that explained really well why that character is the one making the most effort in resolving the main conflict of the story. Secondly, we get the lenghtiest fight scene in the series yet, and it's very well done too. And finally, we get the biggest reveal of the narrative that just raises the stakes even further than ever. Now all these makes me look forward to last few remaining episodes of the show just to see if they can pull off something really special. And by the look of things, they might just do that.
