Episode Context

Coming off the acquisition of Morgif in the previous episode, this installment shifts the focus to what actually wielding that power means for Yuri, moving from obtaining the sword to reckoning with it. At episode 7 of 78, the series is still firmly in its early-arc phase, building out Yuri's capabilities and relationships before the larger political and interpersonal stakes of the Demon Kingdom take center stage. What unfolds here lays groundwork for Yuri's credibility as a leader, a thread that will carry through much of the season ahead.
