Episode Context

Coming directly off Yuuri's disorienting arrival in the demon kingdom, this episode shifts from introduction to integration, putting Yuuri into his first real social friction with the nobility. It's an early but pivotal beat in establishing the central relationships that will carry all 78 episodes. The dynamics and rivalries seeded here with Wolfram in particular set up ongoing tension threads that the series returns to repeatedly.
