In this episode, we can see that Yukina is struggling and can't accept the fact that the enemy they fought turned out to be a human—or an alien in human form. I wish Yukina were braver instead of just seeming like she's going along with the flow. Hopefully, there will be some character development for Yukina in the upcoming episodes.
I love the attention to detail in Kuromukuro. Even the supermarket shelves, prices, and packaging are carefully drawn. The story becomes more intense as the enemy begins its full-scale attack on Earth. Yukina's struggle after learning the "demons" are human feels genuine, and the many unanswered questions make you want to keep watching.
I wasn't expecting the story to take such a heavy turn. The aftermath of the previous battle is handled really well, especially Yukina's struggle with everything she's been through. It's slow paced but the emotional weight makes it hit hard.
