A short-form slice-of-life installment built around a universally relatable seasonal nuisance, spring pollen. The tone is warm, breezy, and deliberately low-stakes, leaning into gentle visual gags and expressive character moments rather than any dramatic tension. Koupen-chan's signature brand of soft, affirming humor is front and center, while the dynamic between the cheerful baby emperor penguin and his tsundere companion Jako Enaga-san adds a layer of comedic friction that keeps things lively. Pacing is swift and light, as expected from this short-form series, with the emphasis firmly on cute interactions and cozy emotional payoffs. Fans of the show's soothing, pick-me-up energy will feel right at home. It's a small, delightful palate cleanser that doesn't demand much but delivers consistent charm.
