EPISODE CONTEXT
Episode 1 dropped Kazuma and Aqua into their new world and exposed how hilariously unprepared they are; episode 2 begins assembling the dysfunctional party that will carry the entire season. Megumin's recruitment is a critical piece of the ensemble puzzle, and the group dynamics established here directly feed into the comedic escalation of the remaining eight episodes.
