It's a witch hunt, yahoo. The situation has escalated to an absurd degree, as expected of our party, and specifically Aqua. It's always impressive just how the writer always manages to ramp up a conflict to an absurd degree, still make them make sense, while making them funny.

It’s so funny how all the believers in the Axis Church are just as chaotically crazy as Aqua. I also noticed how much more of a perv Kazuma Satou is this season compared to the first season, where he was only mildly perverted.

Aqua finally meets people who should worship her — and they think she's a villain. The irony is exquisite. Watching a literal goddess get hunted as a demon is peak KonoSuba comedy.

The plot finally kicks in! The tone shifts from comedy to a "save the town" mission, though it’s still ridiculous. The character development is subtle, showing that despite being an airhead, Aqua actually cares about her followers and clean water.

Watching the Axis cultists realize Aqua is actually their goddess was so chaotic since they just thought she was a crazy person. The way they did a complete 180 and started chasing her for "blessings" while she looked genuinely terrified was hilarious.
