While visiting Wiz’s magic shop, Kazuma Satou stumbles upon a mysterious choker said to grant any wish to its wearer. Intrigued and without much thought, Kazuma decides to put it on. However, what seems like harmless fun quickly turns into a nightmare when Wiz explains the terrible catch — if the wish isn’t fulfilled within four days, the choker will tighten and strangle him to death. Worse yet, Kazuma cannot even remember what he wished for, leaving him clueless about how to lift the curse. Desperate to save his own life, he turns to his party members — Aqua, Megumin, and Darkness — who are left with no other choice but to cater to his every whim in hopes of fulfilling the forgotten wish.
