Episode Context

Picking up directly from Episode 7's arrival in Arcanletia, this eighth episode deepens the city-based arc by immersing Megumin and Yunyun in the full scope of Axis Church madness while introducing Arnes as a new wild card. Sitting at the two-thirds mark of the 12-episode season, it functions as crucial setup, escalating both the comedic stakes and underlying tension that will feed directly into Episode 9's confrontations and the season's final stretch.
