Episode Context

Sitting at the season's exact halfway mark, Episode 6 bridges the academy arc concluded in Episode 5 with Megumin's eventual departure from Crimson Demon Village toward the wider world. The post-graduation growing pains and the introduction of Arnes signal a tonal shift from school-life comedy toward the adventure-driven second half. This episode establishes the motivations and relationships that will fuel Megumin's journey through the remaining six episodes.
