Mungkin karena terus menggali backstory dari sekolah lain jadi ceritanya cukup membosankan, apalagi dimasukan full dalam 1 episode. Motivasi dan perkembangan karakter Mio dan Taishin memang terasa disini, tapi sepertinya storyline bisa lebih baik lagi.
Unlike the previous episode, where you could genuinely feel the sound because the transitions between the music and conversation were perfectly timed, this one felt a bit dragging. The flow was quite dry since the flashbacks and dialogue overlapped too much with the performance, leaving the musical piece feeling way too brief while focusing much more on heavy, substantial narrative.
An episode centered mostly on Hakuto High School, especially Mio. Not my favorite storyline, and I think Episode 10 handled its rival school better, but the themes of boredom and finding your own musical voice were still interesting as a musician myself.
