Mifuyu, a high school student, is surrounded by books, a legacy from her book-collecting family and the famous Mikura Hall library established by her great-grandfather. However, Mifuyu harbors a deep dislike for books. When a thief steals from Mikura Hall, an ancient curse is unleashed, forcing Mifuyu to take action. To reclaim the stolen books and save her town, she must enter the very stories she despises. She is aided by the mysterious Mashiro, whose knowledge and assistance will be crucial to her success.
